Re: the passing of Bruce Johnson
I never had the pleasure of having Mr. J as a teacher, but my brother did at Carmi Elementary in Penticton.
However, I knew his son, Blaine, who passed away of cancer when we were in Grade 7.
I managed to keep in touch with Mr. J at Penticton Vees games, and I always made sure we hugged.
He was very involved and loved within the community. He donated countless hours of his time to make everyone else a better person.
Rest In Peace Mr. J. Give Blaine a hug for me.
