We have been hunting for a condo/townhome to buy in Vernon for quite some time now.
We get blocked at 97 per cent of them.
If the strata allows a dog (very few allow more than one), in most cases they must be under 15 inches tall.
We have found this extremely discouraging, trying to find a condo to own in the housing market.
Vernon is pathetic when it comes to dogs.
We rescued two dogs, the smallest coming in at 18 inches and weighing 30 pounds. The other coming in at 26 inches tall and weighing 50 pounds.
Because of this, we cannot purchase property in a stratified unit – at least not in the price range we are looking for.
No, we are not giving up our dogs.
