Over the last few years, the legalization of marijuana has been a topic concerning all Canadians. The controversy has been between whether or not Canada is ready for this significant change in our country.
But on Oct. 17, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau finalized a very debatable decision by legalizing marijuana. Although there may be some benefits, Canada is not yet ready for this.
By far the biggest issue concerning the legalization of cannabis is driving high. Our nation has enough problems with people driving drunk, but driving high is a whole other concern.
Driving high puts the lives of you and others at risk.
The legalization of marijuana was a mistake and needs to be changed.
Canada is not ready for this new law. Trudeau, needs to put a stop to this.
