Cut it, but don't kill it

Think about your Christmas tree.

If you buy yours, skip this part. For those who harvest their own, my preference, here's something
to think about.

When you cut your own tree, leave that bottom-most limb on the stump. In short order, tree wise, it will bend upwards and form the stem of a new tree.

And with the root system to support a larger tree, will grow back pretty quickly.

Share this with friends and social network, and we can do our bit to keep trees growing.

Doesn't sound like much, but every bit helps.

Dave Drought, Oliver
