Wow, good idea! I am a noon-hour supervisor at A.S. Matheson School.
It's unbelievable how many people speed through the school zone. I have sat there anywhere from five to 15 minutes, and in that time period I will see at least three to five vehicles speeding through.
I believe that at least one-third of all cars going past this school do not even see the school zone signs.
If it wasn’t for some people slowing to the proper speed, others behind would not even slow down. Some even switch lanes to get around others who obey the speed limit.
Sadly, this goes on every single day.
