Take back our streets

As a society, have we come to this?

Effectively saying, if you don’t lock your car, then it’s your own fault that your belongings get stolen?

Although I do lock my car and house as a course of habit and agree it’s a good idea, it should not matter and surely doesn’t justify my belongings being stolen.

Last I checked, theft was still illegal and should be treated that way.

Why we excuse this behaviour is beyond my comprehension.

We are quickly becoming a lazy society where it is easier to accept things rather than do anything about it.

Just look as gas price fixing as an example.

Anyway, it’s time to take back our streets. The RCMP seem to be so busy with whatever, that theft and property crime don’t even make it onto their radar.

It’s election time again, and I will be watching for candidates who have some form of crime mitigation on their platform.
