Pandosy-Lakeshore traffic has greatly increased over the past few years – along Harvey/Highway 97 even more.
Kelowna's population is growing quickly, especially near the lake.
All those extra people are going to want to move around – not in 20 years, like city council is planning for, but in 3-5 years.
Our city should be starting at least two dedicated busways now. One north-south near the lake, and another east-west to the airport/UBCO.
The cost to build them is high, but not nearly as high as having traffic eventually getting completely jammed.
Do yourself a favour – ask your politicians to do this now. Email [email protected].
