Ban booze, ban festivals

Three years ago, Panama City Beach, “spring break party capitol of the world,” banned alcohol on the beach during spring break.

That week, there were about four people on the beach. It was relaxing and peaceful.

I know, because I was there to witness it.

If moves like this can be made, then Kelowna can prohibit festivals like Center of Gravity so that young lives don’t have to be lost for nothing.

Our beaches were trashed, and a very young and innocent person died because of the havoc drugs and alcohol wreak.
