Get out of way, or get wet

I am so sick of seeing boaters with zero respect for firefighters.

This happens every year, and nothing really gets done to resolve the issue.

There is a very simple fix for this.

• Take the fire department boat out that has the large water cannon on it, and start blasting boats. 
• Have the rcmp impound boats for three months. 
• Have the helicopters drop a few buckets of water on or right beside the boats that shouldn't be there.

The problem is, from what I can see, no real repercussions other than a slap on the wrist.

Clearly, what we have been doing in past years is not working.
