Tough love from this writer

I was reading about the youths arrested after the arson fire at the Rutland Community Centre.

What were these kids thinking, if anything at all?

If they get charged, we all know that a slap on the wrist is the only thing that will happen.

They need to be taught a lesson – and the hard way, unfortunately.

I think the courts should have the right to go into their rooms, take whatever is important to them (phones, iPads, video games) and throw it all in a furnace.

Let them watch. If they show no remorse or common sense, then add their bike.

They have to be taught a lesson.
