I have emailed one of the big tobacco companies with a suggestion I'm sure they will ignore.
I suggested they develop cigarettes with butts that go out after so long. This would make them look good and help the terrible fire hazard with such loss of property and life.
I see so many tossed butts that are still burning, and it is appalling, with no wonder more fires are not started.
They could do it easily with their technology, and it would surely make them look good.
