Don't fall for fake news

While it is true more Americans are working and the number of people on food assistance is down, the reason is two-fold.

One, their economy is doing well (let's wait and see how tariffs affect their economy), but the more interesting part is that President Trump quietly signed a long-anticipated executive order intended to force low-income recipients of food assistance, Medicaid and low-income housing subsidies to join the work force or face the loss of their benefits.

As to the current status of the two Koreas talking, that is unknown; as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo walked away from the last talks without meeting with Kim Jong Un and called the talks "productive," while the North called it "regrettable."

In fact, days before the trip began, Pompeo had to rush to get new a passport with a special endorsement allowing entry to North Korea.

In the end, authorities in Korea never stamped it, and the document was returned unstamped. It was as if the secretary had never visited at all. Now It is a wait and see game.

As for big companies returning to the U.S. from oversees, my own research has found none so far.

Trump has accomplished more for the U.S. than any president in years – more uncivility and division, among other things.

Don’t believe the false news being thrown at you.
