Playing with gas prices

I really don't know what is happening when it come to gas prices. And not that I would believe it for a second, I would like to know what Mr. Knowitall from has to say this time. There is absolutely no reason for what is happening in the last couple of days and weeks.

The price went up from 1.22 to 1.27, then down to 1.24, then up again to 1.34, down to 1.32, up to 1.40, down to 1.34 and 1.32 and now up again to 1.47. If the price of crude changes it's not that much and that quick and for how many times in the Okanagan or just Kelowna.

Another thing I don't know is why people fill at places for 1.47 while just one station further down is still at 1.32. Are they not reading the signs, or do they just not care? Maybe we should introduce a new system called "fill at your own price", you can't go below a certain price, but there is no limit on the up side. So, if there is a line up at the cheaper place, you have a choice to fill at a higher price without the wait. Frankly I would not be surprised if that would work.

One more thing that starts to bug me, mainly since we don't have pennies anymore, just get rid of that stupid .99, not just for gas, for everything. Or are we so brainwashed that we go to another store because it is .01 cheaper. That also would not surprise me much.
