ICBC should start a user program like all other utility's like power and gas the more you drive the more you pay, 15 or 20 cents per km.
Maybe we get people to walk more and enjoy the fresh air and get some pound 's off their body. It is not fair for us that only drive 5000 km a year and pay $1000.00 for a 30 year old car!
We live in small town Penticton and walk 12,000 to 16,000 steps a day [Fitbit crazy] in or late 70's and have problems crossing the street of people driving all day. Something is wrong here, 20,000 km per year at $3000 -$4000 would be about right.
