Tax is discriminating

The Canadian Human Rights Act has protection against discrimination in the area of purchase and ownership of property in the province of B.C. This means that you can't single out out-of-province owners and tax them differently than anyone else in the province or Canada!

And why did Mr. Horgan suddenly drop several cities from this ridiculous proposed tax?  Did their imaginary rental shortage problem magically disappear? This whole tax plan just reeks of stupidity.

This tax plan idea has to be torn up once and for all and for so many reasons. There is nothing wrong with out-of-province owners and its perfectly within a property owners rights to choose whether they want to rent their properties or not.

That's just my two cents.
