Liberals not supporting

There have been numerous news reports, articles, and letters to the editors concerning the premature nature of the proposed federal tax changes. Contributions have come from tax lawyers, tax consultants, accountants, business owners and other professionals. Even several Liberal members in Parliament have expressed their concern.

Finally, a Liberal member has expressed his intention to vote against the legislation in its present form. Imagine a representative is going to express the wish of the people who elected him rather than blindly follow the party line with his vote.

Perhaps some of our local elected representatives will develop a backbone and oppose the proposed changes rather than protect their status in the government.
