Justice for trees

Yet again a tree gets cut down on city property to better the view for the homeowner. There is a certain mentality that let's people do something they know they shouldn't and then ask for forgiveness claiming ignorance.

There should be an automatic $10,000 fine for each tree that's cut down. No fighting the ticket just pay it or it goes on your property taxes, then plant two trees of the same species in the same spot.

These homeowners know they are doing something they shouldn't and getting away with it.
