Hello Mayor and Council,
The fire that took place July 8th should confirm that the proposed development of high rise towers for this area is definitely a potential for major disaster. I certainly hope you to choose to deny this application.
The road network for Kelowna needs to be improved to ensure that all residents can get to safety in the event of fire. 2003 was a perfect example and we should not be so ignorant to think that this will not happen again.
Going forward, all new condos should be concrete structures. When will the City take heed of what is important?
