The 9,000 residents on Westbank First Nations land are not receiving the $200 Homeowners Grant that the Liberal Government of BC put into place in 2011 for most BC homeowners. This is not fair to these residents.
WFN representatives have been trying to meet with Christie Clark, our BC representative, so we can receive the $1,400 I believe we have coming to us, and she will not meet with the WFN representatives on this issue.
She has had time to meet with representatives across the Province who have been willing to pay her, but not her constituent representatives.
This is not a person I want representing me, and I urge all homeowners on WFN land not to vote for Christie Clark because you are being treated unfairly in more ways than one.
