In response to “Developers can do better” posted on March 28th, while the city claims they would like to see more affordable housing, the city’s exorbitant costs associated with property development take away far too much from any budget and this in turn may provide for lower quality/less creativity but more so, keeps even more affordable housing from those needy low income tenants.
Further, any attempts at working “together” with the city in helping to reduce rents, are denied. How shameful!
Nothing like working “together” for the good of our entire community!
