Glenrosa Elementary kudos

I’d like it to be known that the  principal at Glenrosa Elementary is so amazingly on point.

From the beginning of the year she takes time every day to learn all the names of the students, their younger siblings and the parents. She then gets to know each of us, so that we feel present and special. This makes not only the students, but the parents feel important and comfortable.

For example my youngest son, who was not even a student at the school was sick one day last year and on our way in to drop off his older brother, Mrs. Stathers asks “where is little Levi today?”  Well let me tell you, big brother was beyond amazed that ’the principal' knew his brothers name and noticed amongst the sea of children funnelling in that one little guy was not there. To build rapport with hundreds of people at the same time is a skill only few can possess, and it should not go unnoticed.

Also, the school has a certain flow that I have yet to encounter elsewhere. I have seen a few others schools in running action, and unfortunately the vibe isn’t always bang on. The teachers posses class management beyond what is expected, and as we all know, that is exactly the environment the children thrive best in.

Just thought I'd share, we are a very proud Glenrosa Elementary family.
