I recognize the importance of police enforcement. But, focusing on a business that provides relief to many in pain, or suffering from a medical condition, should not be the focus of any law enforcement agency in the Okanagan Valley.
We are inundated by speeders, people texting while driving, ludicrous driving behaviours and blatant abuse of the law on our roads that is not being curtailed or addressed by our beloved RCMP in any way!
I witnessed a vehicle turning off HWY 97 in West Kelowna at Butt Road in front of a RCMP vehicle while the light was turning green for traffic on the highway. Clearly the person turning off the highway did so on a red left turn light. Yet the officer did nothing!
If they (RCMP) are not going to do anything in a situation like that, it only encourages more bad behaviour, IE: law breaking, we are lost. And we are all put in danger by these dangerous drivers.
Please, officers, take your eyes off your computer screens, and start making our roads safe again!
