Thank you Dan Albas

I just wanted to shout out a big thank you to Dan Albas.  

I was in Ottawa for the first time over the Canada Day long weekend, and was unable to secure a ticket to tour Parliament. There is no entry fee and tickets are first come first served. 

Resigned to missing out on seeing this iconic building and the history inside it, I had a brainstorm. I emailed Dan to see if he knew where a spare ticket may be found.  He replied very promptly and directed me to a meeting spot at the Centennial Flame.  

Well, imagine my shock when it turned out he would be the one taking me for a personal tour of Parliament!  

He spent over an hour of his time, when I’m positive he had better things to do, and gave a very informative tour of the Commons, Senate, Library, and portrait hall. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge of the facility and the history behind it.  

I can truly say it was the highlight of my trip.

Not a conservative convert but definitely an Albas Fan.
