Boucherie Mountain parking

West Kelowna Council had the opportunity to include the provision of parking spaces for people accessing Boucherie Mountain. This was part of the development proposal for the Vineyard Estates site on East Boundary road.

Some councillors felt five spaces were more than adequate while others felt seven would be more practical. On any given day there are at least twenty vehicles parked on the roadway at the base of the trail.

Council has failed again to provide the infrastructure that would support such a valuable attraction.

Rather than build a new City Hall that benefits only the City of West Kelowna employees, let’s spend some money to improve aging infrastructure that will benefit all members of the community.
