Thank you, kind strangers

On Friday, July 1st, my elderly father went for a walk near city park.

He had a very bad fall, and was injured. He was lying on the ground thinking to himself "this is it". He laid there for a few minutes with passing people ignoring him. A young couple came along and saw my dad in distress. This very kind pair picked my father up, attended to his cuts and scrapes, and drove him back to his retirement residence, where he was treated for numerous contusions and abrasions.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to this unknown couple who acted selflessly to help my father, and go to the extra effort of making sure he got home safely, and got the medical treatment he needed.

Bless you, whoever you are! It is wonderful to know that there are still people who really care about others, and were willing to take the time during the festivities of Canada Day to help my dear dad.

Thank you, whoever you were!

David A. Linge
