How disappointing to hear the comments of the person who is "sick and tired of hearing about Sindi Hawkins". I, for one, am very grateful to Sindi for sharing with us her journey through such a scary, terrible time in her young life.
She is our MLA, a caring, faithful woman to our community, and a very good example of "going through what you have to go through" during this time in her life. She shows us in her letters loyalty of family, her weaknesses, her fears, her vulnerability and her courage. I am grateful to Sindi for educating me on the many procedures and horrors that a person with leukemia has to go through.
Keep up the admirable work with your disease Sindi. I'm sure there are many praying for your full recovery and glad that you are going to be back "home" soon. Thank you Sindi for sharing your journey with us and educating us on bone marrow transplants, chemotherapy and also for showing us your fear and "human-ness" with us. Please continue to keep us posted on your recovery progress. To the person who doesn't want to read it - "don't"!
