Remember in the 80's, when Coca-cola changed its secret recipe after 100 very successful years? It was a huge disaster. Almost broke the company.
The same group that came up with that idea, now work for the city Kelowna.
Yes, in their wisdom, they have decided to scrap the Ogopogo! So glad council voted against it. How did it ever get on the agenda to start with? Doesn't really make council look all that bright either.
Anyway, no worries. We will now have an Ogopogo classic, which will be even more popular in the end.
