Saving pets up poles

I would like to think that BC Hydro make enough money to look after events like this one, which does not happen too often.  

It would not be safe for an untrained person to go up such an electrical pole, and may even cause harm to themselves or damage to the power pole causing a power outage.

Also, I would like to say that hundreds of skiers and hikers go out of bounds all winter and summer long, needing assistance from search and rescue. As far as I know, we do not charge the families for these rescues which cost hundreds of thousand man hours and dollars.
