Eldorado boat launch

Over the last two years, the City of Kelowna has been spending taxpayer’s monies on studies, applying for permits etc. to clean the sand buildup in front of the Eldorado boat launch. Last fall the launch was shut down, apparently to dredge and remove the sand shown besides the dock.
 
Now, this spring, the sand buildup is worse the ever. My inquires to the City only result in frustration on my part as all I get is a runaround. Now it sounds like the docks and launch are going to be shut down again this spring.  

Some of us use this launch on a year round basis.
