Chilly theatre

While attending a film last Monday evening at the Vernon Towne Theatre (hosted by the Vernon Film Society) I was surprised at how cold the theatre was. I felt like I was in sitting in a large refrigerator!

Upon exiting I asked someone if the theatre is always this chilly in the winter. The person said one of the theatre doors is not adjusted properly and cold air is seeping in from the outside. If the theatre manager has no plans to have the door adjusted (or add weather stripping), why doesn't he turn the thermostat on to compensate
for the cold air?

The document "Indoor Air Quality" (WorkSafeBC) states acceptable ranges of temperature for comfort (in winter) are between 20 -  24 degrees Celsius.

I wonder what the Vernon Film Society executive thinks of the chilly theatre.

Guess I'll have to wait until summer to attend another film at Vernon Towne Theatre. Or will the theatre then be too warm?
