It's not breed specific

Are you serious? Ban certain breeds of dogs? 

I’m assuming this is a pit bull issue. Ignorance astounds me, to blame it on a dog breed. Look at the research - pit bulls studied are the second most tolerant breed of dog. 

It is not the dog or the breed it is the owner and the way they are raised. The dog that attacked the little girl was clearly a special case with a known history.  Unfortunately  it was a pit bull and it perpetuated the stereo type. 

Any dog can be dangerous, it is not breed specific. Chihuahuas are one of the worst but you never hear about them. I am a pit bull owner and if you want to put down my dog, you going to have to put me down first. 

I am sorry for the little girl that was attacked, bad things happen to good people. A little boy was run over and killed on the channel parkway, are you willing to ban trucks too? What about the little girl that drown in the lake this last summer? Lets ban kids from swimming.
