I agree with K.R. about the people on the Hwy near the mall. I also want to add: Why can't they go out and find a job as they are "able bodied" men and women?
They also have a dog or two. Come on! If they can't afford to eat themselves how can they afford to feed the dog or two? They are begging for money, work or food from us. The poor dogs lay in the hot sun all day some times without water or food! Why doesn't the SPCA get involved here as that is cruel to the poor animals they drag with them all day long. They should be banned from owning animals if they can't look after them properly.
They think it will make people feel alot more sorry if they cart the dogs with them. Sure it probably works, but they need to go the job bank and work for the day and get paid cash for the work they do. But why should they when people drop money in the hat for them? Why go to work and do hard labor for $8.00 per hour and have the govt take most of it away? They can get it for free from all whom feel sorry for them or the dogs. I love my children and my animals and would never see them or put them in that place!
What about the parents of these kids? Where are you guys? I wouldn't want my kids out there begging that is why I take care of them (as a single mom most of my life) all the time. I gave birth to them - they never go away! They are with you for life! That means supporting them in anyway possible. Step up to the plate pearnets! If they don't like living with you, then it is up to you to help them find a place they will enjoy. It should never make a difference how old they are. They are still your flesh and blood. The community didn't give birth to your children!
