This morning I arrived at the Salvation Army with my new, unwrapped toy to exchange for the waiving of my parking ticket. To my dismay I learned that this wonderful gesture was by Impark alone.
Shame on you, City of Kelowna (Mayor Basran, Council Members & City Administrator) that you could (or would) not partner up with Impark for this one 4 hour window event and allow those of us with City of Kelowna parking tickets to donate a toy to make this Christmas just a little happier for the less fortunate. How much would your coffers have suffered versus the goodwill the people of Kelowna would have felt towards the city for its generous spirit.
Here's to you Impark and ba humbug to you City of Kelowna - may your stockings be filled with coal.
