Re: Dogs that are with the homeless, on the streets.
It is winter in the Okanagan.
Many of us are so fortunate to be in a very warm, cozy home(s) with our loved ones. Looking at our cats and/or dogs lying on/in their favourite cozy places/beds. Soft, warm, serene.
Not an even close reality for those pets of the homeless people.
If you read this, please think of the dogs belonging to the homeless of our communities. They (the dogs) are usually short haired, Labrador retrievers, their paws dictate their body temperature. Paw Protectors make sure the dogs don't have to suffer through, not only temperature, but antifreeze, (which is poisonous to them), and salt, etc., which are in their immediate environments Dogs lick their paws, and in doing so ingest, what ever is in their paws.
So, if you, a person of wealth, can afford to, please buy and gift, dog Paw Protectors to the homeless.
