I was very surprised to see no letters to the editor thanking our WW2 vets for their bravery and sacrifice they made on this day (June 6th-D-Day). Only letters complaining about noise and gas-gouging. People, please don't forget if not for the bravery of our troops 72 years ago today, we would not be complaining about trivial matters such as noise or gas prices, nor have the freedom to express our personal opinions. Hats off, and a very big thank you to the hero's that risked their lives to give us freedom. Thank you to all the people who fought that terrible day, and changed the course of WW2. My most humble thanks to those who lost their lives, and the ones who survived to protect us. I had a grampa in WW1, and my other in WW2. Thank you for everything you risked to protect the free world. I am forever indebted to you.
Sincerely,
David A. Linge
