Why Are Kids On Street?

I just heard about MLA Lorne Mayencourt trying to pass a private legislature bill to ban aggressive squeegee kids. I have not laughed that hard in a long time. This is the legislature he wants under his belt? Preventing kids from scratching cars?

Perhaps some thought as to why these kids are on the street? Maybe why they do not have a place to live?

There are so many people that truly need legislature passed to protect them that I just found this decision laughable, naive and oddly insulting. Maybe because my car is so old it doesn't have any paint and I proudly support the squeegee people as trying to earn a little cash to survive.

Mr. Mayencourt, for shame!
