BMX wonderful sport

Ever wonder what BMX means? Bicycle motocross peddle bikes, racing on packed dirt.

There is a special bond between kids and there bikes that can never be broken. Riding a bike is a rite of passage, a passport to worlds beyond the front lawns. Bikes represents fun, freedom, fresh air and everything thats good about being a kid.

What most don’t know about Penticton BMX Canada is the “Race for Life”, all proceeds from this race event are gathered and donated to B.C Children's Hospital for Leukaemia research in Vancouver. The more people we gather for this event that anyone with any bike can race, the more money our children have for research. We love our kids and we want them well.

Biking is a healthy pastime that kids will never out grow. Let's provide them them with options for riding. When my family joined the Penticton BMX Club our first race was free and thats all it took for my boys to be hooked. We where never more welcomed by any other sport than the BMX Family, it’s a special bond all the kids and parents get to help each other. I am thankful for all the efforts that are put into running this non-profit organization. The families and the members do an outstanding job.
We are know heavily involved in BMX and are never more happier to see that snow melt for us to hit the track for training. Our races are fun and our children are never more happier.

A standard-length BMX track with ample parking allows us to host provincial and national events. These events are fun and great for seeing families you know and welcoming newer ones into your lives. Nationals are for the more serious rider, meaning our riders train daily are to bed early and rising with the sun and training for that days racing. and the races are exhilarating.

These events bring in many families to the sport, which in turn help our local economy.

Join us on any Thursday race night. Your first race is always free, we register at 5:30-6:00pm. or if your just coming to watch we race at 6:15pm. The little ones make you feel that there's not a care in the world, and there shouldn't be for them. Long live BMX.

Proud BMX Mom
