Kelowna getting “hosed”

I was on the road yesterday, from Kelowna to Revelstoke, back to Sicamous and on to Kamloops, then back to Kelowna. Once again, Kelowna has the highest gas price at $1.05. Vernon is at $0.97, Kamloops at $99.9, and all other places are below one dollar.  And, of course, all brands have the exact same price in any given place, but there is no “price fixing”.  Gas Buddy and Mr.McTeague or whatever his name is should shut down because they don’t do any good to anybody. We all know that it does not pay to drive to another town just to fill up the tank. Mr. McTeague has a different excuse about every two weeks about why the price is what it is and so far any of them do not make any sense. However, the question remains – why always Kelowna?
