Toronto Arrogance

Once again a Torontonian has deemed Kelowna socially inept. This time the
issue is movie theatres.

I think it’s interesting that the writer of Movie Enjoyment Tips is so
critical of Kelowna’s lack of movie etiquette compared to that of Toronto. I find it hard to believe that Torontonians are more socially civilized to the point that they respect theatre manners more so then we do here.

Every so often letters are sent to the editor comparing Kelowna to Toronto.
Kelowna always receives the short end of the stick, resulting in the implied title of Hick Town. I feel that those from Toronto have a certain level of arrogance when judging our gorgeous city. It makes me wonder why so many Torontonians set up residence in Kelowna if they consider it such a morally frustrating place to live.

Note to writers from Toronto your overly harsh and critical letters have
not gone unnoticed. Beware when offending proud Kelownians. Next we may
bite!
