I also know people who are abusing the food bank services, people who own brand new cars and very nice homes and the fact that they do not choose to stop all the luxuries that they do not need such as going out to bars, pubs, going out for nice lunches and dinners, and still having enough money to go to the liquor stores and buy cigarettes.
People who do those types of things should not have to go to the food bank and abuse the services that other people desperately need. This is something we are teaching the children and youth of today.
So in my conclusion to this letter, I believe we should start checking for proof of peoples income and bank statements and only give the people who really need it, not people who have just spent all their money foolishly and deciding that this is a right choice, because it is not.
