Monstrosity on the lake? Isn't that what they all said The Grand would be? This man is wanting to bring international recognition to our city as well as create jobs, which we all know Kelowna needs, may I remind you of the Leon Avenue Homeless issue.
Eventually if he doesn't do it, someone else will. I resent the words "so-called wellness center" being used, as it would seem that it is your way of making it sound like his plan is a joke. In my opinion it is not a joke, it is a fabulous idea. Enough of the nay-sayer reports, lets hear from the people who support the idea!
I would love to see what this man can do with his idea, how far he can run with it, as I said if not him, than who and where? Our area is beautiful, and regardless of the fact that there are some people here who are not willing to share the magnificent country side we all take for granted. The people will come. And with the 2010 Olympics on the way, where are they going to stay when they decide to come back and experience an "Okanagan Summer"? The Grand won't hold them all!
Good luck to the plan, I can hope that someone will recognize the good it will bring to our city and the surrounding areas.
