Teen wants to sing at Canucks' game

A West Kelowna singer is looking for your support to help her 'Rock the Rog.'
Anthem singer Rachel Pavlakovic, 15, is one of 20 singers in the running to sing the national anthem at an upcoming Vancouver Canucks game.
Potential singers were asked to submit a sample of their anthem ability in order to be considered.
Pavlakovic sent in a video of her performing the national anthem at a Kelowna Rockets game earlier this season.
Central Okanagan sports fans will recognize Pavlakovic as an anthem singer at Rockets, West Kelowna Warriors and Kelowna Falcons' games.
It would be a return engagement for Pavlakovic who, at 12, won the BC Hockey Anthem Idol competition which earned her a chance to sign the national anthem at a Canucks/Dallas Stars game in 2010.
She also won a 'Be A Weather Broadcaster For A Day" contest on the Weather Network in 2007 and performed on stage with Kenny Rogers at Prospera Place in 2008.
The top 20 are currently featured on the 'Rock the Rog' Facebook page (Pavlakovic is in the red jacket).
Fan voting will determine the top 10. The final day for voting is this Thursday, Aug. 29.
The top 10 will be invited to give a live audition at Rogers Arena where the winner will be selected.
