The cat is out of the bag. ZZ Top is coming to Kelowna.
Promoter Deborah J. Cameron says the Texas based band will be performing on July 8 on the Westside Bluff as part of the inaugural "Rock The Bluff" Rock Concert (July 8-10).
Cameron wanted to make the official announcement in two weeks from now but the band released its tour dates on its official web site.
Cameron says two other big name bands will be performing during the weekend rock concert but won't reveal their names. She will only say they're from the U.S. Cameron says one of the bands has been confirmed for July 9 and is still working on booking the other.
Cameron says tickets for the ZZ Top concert will likely go on sale in mid-May.
Meantime, rumours suggest that Cher will be performing at Prospera Place this summer.
