A tentative date has been scheduled for sentencing in the stabbing death of Ashlee Hyatt, the 16-year-old girl who was killed outside a Peachland house party in June 2010.
It is expected that sentencing will take place April 16-17 in Kelowna, but that date could be moved to later in the week, depending on whether both counsels can be available.
The matter of sentencing has been delayed numerous times as the court waited for a pre-sentence report to be completed.
The accused, who cannot be named because she was also a youth at the time of the incident, was found guilty of manslaughter last November.
A decision has still not been made as to whether the crown will push to sentence the youth as an adult.
