5 p.m. update: The accidents have been cleared but there are still reports of slippery conditions on 97C. 

At least five vehicles a semi and two rollovers, due to icy conditions, have been reported near Brenda Mine Road, and drivers are encouraged to slow down and use extra caution in that area.
