Kelowna RCMP responded to a hit and run Thursday afternoon that took place on the corner of Harvey and Richter
Witnesses say a black Mercedes hit a cyclist before speeding off behind the Petro-Can.
The victim sustained injuries to the lower body and was tended to on location by paramedics.
Cst. Marion, who was first on scene, says that although the cyclist was travelling on the wrong side of the highway, “the driver should not have left.”
Police are asking anyone with information to please call 250-762-3300.
