Students at Rutland Senior Secondary were evacuated from their classes around 10:45 a.m. this morning after a report of a fire in one of the bathrooms.

"There was a fire in the boys bathroom at Rutland Senior Secondary," says a student at the school.

Kelowna fire and ambulance were quickly on scene and no injuries are believed to have been reported, although paramedics led one student out of the school with a blanket around her shoulders.
