Monster bash will help food bank
Oct 25, 2012 / 2:11 pm
The City of Kelowna will hold a pre-Halloween celebration at the Capital News Centre Sunday to help the Kelowna Community Food Bank.
The city invites friends and family to the annual Family Monster Bash Oct. 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the centre, located at 4105 Gordon Drive.
The event will feature several different games and activities, such as obstacle courses, face painting, Halloween-themed stations, cookie decorating, and free public skating (1 – 3:30 p.m.). Skate rentals will be available.
The City says there will be a little something for everyone to enjoy.
This event is in support of the Kelowna Community Food Bank. Non-perishable food donations are welcome.
For more information about Family Fun Day, call the Parkinson Recreation Centre at 250-469-8800, visit online or check out Facebook under events.
