Smash, cash, and dash
Oct 17, 2012 / 11:12 am
Kelowna RCMP are seeking the public's help about a series of commercial break-ins in Rutland early Wednesday morning.
Police received reports just after 3 a.m. that Extreme Pita, Magicuts, and Crystal Nails were broken into and robbed.
“The three break-ins appear to have been completed in quick succession and in the same manner, and are very likely related,” says Cst. Kris Clark.
The robber, whose description is not available at this time, smashed the front doors to gain entry and made off with a small amount of cash.
“The suspect(s) were seemingly only interested in cashing out the stores, as nothing else of value was reported missing.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, online, or by text at CRIMES (274637) ktown.
