Five flights in and out of Kelowna airport were cancelled Wednesday morning.
The list includes flights to Calgary, Montreal and along with one arrival from Edmonton.
Jenelle Hynes, Airport Communications Coordinator, says three of the morning departures were cancelled because the planes were unable to land at the airport Tuesday night. If they had arrived last night they would have parked on the apron overnight and then left with passengers in the morning.
No other delays or cancellations were listed but anyone planning on travelling or greeting friends and family who are returning home should check online or call ahead.
In Penticton, the story is the same. The Regional Airport has cancelled the 6 a.m. and the 9:55 a.m. flights
